Mayabeque, Cuba_ Experts of the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, located in Mayabeque, are organizing the XX International Scientific Congress of the field to be held from November 23rd to 25th of the present year.

The event will promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences on sustainable agriculture, characterization and handling of microorganisms, improvement and conservation of Fito genetic resources and nutrition of the plants with the presentation of works related with those topics and the development of workshops to discuss aspects of the scientific and technical  computerization in the agricultural sciences, plague of high impact for the fruit growing and challenges of the products from America amid the climatic change.

During November 21 and 22, well known specialists at international level will impart pre-congress courses directed to the participation of the farmers in the success of the innovation, handling and use of the water in the agriculture, the degradation of floors, sustainable handling of rice agro ecosystem, agro ecology and sustainable agriculture.

Jesus Dávila Goatherd, specialist in communication and propaganda of the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, explained that as part of the congress it will be carried out the photography contest “Lens, Nature and Agriculture”.
