Mayabeque, Cuba_ A new Wi-Fi zone will be inaugurated next September 1st for the benefit of the residents of Bejucal in the province of Mayabeque.

The installation began last Monday at the House of Culture of the locality.

According to Miguel Lopez, engineer in telecommunications and head of ETECSA’s team in charge of the installation, the new Wi-fi zone will have two access points, one will operate in the band of 2,4 GHz and another in the band of 5 GHz with capacity up to 99 users each one and an assignment of a megabit for each user.

Many villagers, had to move to Santiago de las Vegas and San Antonio de los Baños to receive the service, but starting in September they will be able to make the connection from the central park of the town.
