Mayabeque, Cuba_ The abundant rains, from last weekend in this province, benefit the cultivations of the current sowing campaign, although in some places it was necessary to advance the harvest to avoid losses, Mayabeque newspaper publishes.
The most fertile and productive floors in Cuba also known as ferralíticos rojos, have received the highest benefits, standing out among them Güines, Melena del Sur, Batabanó and Quivicán stand out.
The constant practice demonstrates that those arable areas possess deep floors, of good drainage, besides having several chemical elements among them Phosphorus and Potassium, indispensable to produce diverse cultivations.
Those territories have historically achieved the biggest crops of viandas, fruits, beans and vegetables in Cuba.
The rains of this August arrive to favor the plantations of grains like rice, corn, soya, beans, among other, of great demand for the population and the animal food.
To facilitate the productive process the territory work in the permanent use of organic and green fertilizers to take advantage of the rains.
A small farming is also being carried out, as well as the qualification of experts and producers to apply the last advances of the science and the technology that will allow the wide western plain of red lands, to continue at the vanguard of the food production in the country.
