Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Municipal University Centers (CUM in Spanish), of this young province, opened their doors to be declared ready as part of the preparations for the new academic period 2016-2017, Mayabeque newspaper publishes.
In the welcome ceremony MSc. Gisela Valdés Rivero, director of Melena del Sur’s CUM, highlighted the opening of two new careers, Physical Culture and Primary Education and that everything is ready to begin this Wednesday, the registration process for those students.
The educational institution, belonging to Fructuoso Rodriguez Perez Agrarian University, is part of the universalization process which began in the locality on October 3rd, 2002.
As Valdés Rivero remarked, they have an experienced professors staff, prepared for the pre grade and postgraduate teaching, with scientific and academic high level which allows to elevate the quality of the main processes of the CUM, with stands out in the investigation and is recognized by its results.
"Their work staff is involved in the university tasks in correspondence with the demands of the territory. From the extracurricular work they participate with the students in impact tasks carried out in that municipality", the Master in Sciences affirmed.
