Mayabeque, Cuba_ The economic plan for 2016 in Mayabeque corresponds to the current situation of the international crisis and requires a greater monitoring and control by the competent authorities.

The investments included in the stage rises to 209 million 900 thousand pesos with priority on continuing social work, improving passenger service, according to reports from the direction of economy and planning of the demarcation.

During a regular session of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power in the territory, it was also approved the budget for 2016 which includes the financial support of protected sectors such as education, health, culture, sport and social welfare, among others.

It also has as specific features in this calendar, the relaxation of the use of the territorial tax, the contribution of state social institutions to promote local development projects and fund capital expenditures.

The province expects a surplus of 146 million 600 thousand pesos at the end of this year from the effective implementation of the budget which will allow better coordination between the objectives of the plan of the economy and the design and scope of monetary and fiscal policies.
