Mayabeque, Cuba__ The state sector in the municipality of Güines adopt measures to contribute to the rational and efficient use of electric energy, to avoid overdrafts taking into account the use of high consumption equipment in factories, industries, refrigerators and other entities.

Odalis Sánchez Díaz, Energy specialist in of the Municipal Administration Council (CAM by its Spanish initials) said that at present the territory is fulfilling the plan established for this stage.

She commented that Güines has more than 880 services where the reading of the electricity meter in the entities is carried out daily to know the updated consumption register taking regulations for control in order to avoid electrical interruptions in the residential sector.

Sánchez Díaz said that the call is to save energy rationally, following the call made by the country's leadership to avoid overdrafts during the production of goods and services.
