Mayabeque, Cuba_ The provincial contest of the different subjects taught in high junior schools is being carried out since January 12th at Juan Borrell Pre university of Güines, where the students have the possibility of participation in equal conditions.

The majority of the students which participate in this kind of competitions, are being trained in Mathematics, Physics, Chemestry, Biology, English, Geography and Computing, with the main purpose of strengthening in them the professional orientation and their inclination to the different careers.

A jury assesses the subjects and selects the students who will integrate the national selection.

The presence of the students in this contest is ensured to keep active the competitive events besides the challenge in the improvement of spelling as well as their presence in the complementary activities to strengthen the school’s role as the main cultural center of society.
