Mayabeque, Cuba_ Organization, discipline and a high commitment to the defense of the country characterized the Strategic Exercise Bastion 2016 that concluded this noon in the municipality of Madruga.
During the last three days the direction and command bodies in the different structures of the territory carried out actions to elevate their preparation and cohesion in response to a possible enemy attack.
The Municipal Defense Council and working groups in Madruga updated and exercised the defensive plans of the country and how to guarantee the production of goods and services in exceptional situations during the Strategic Exercise Bastion 2016.
Now everything is ready in the locality to carry out the national defense days next Saturday and Sunday as part of the philosophy of the struggle of the entire people, strategic foundation of the defense of the country.
The madruguenses will participate in practical exercises in the military operation sceneries as well as in cleaning works in the community and the support to prioritized sectors such as sugar cane and agriculture.
