Mayabeque, Cuba_ Members of the CDR, belonging to the zone 2 of Melena del Sur, analyzed in a neighborhood debate the bulletin 44 issued by the national leadership of the organization, related to the patriotic and anti-imperialist duty.
The meeting that had as main objective to discuss among the neighbors, how to continue supporting from each block the development of the revolutionary process, had clear interventions on the part of the attendants.
Isarys Ferrer, Arts Instructor of the territory, explained that the subversive policy of the United States government is aimed mainly at young people, so the ideological preparation is vital at the moment.
About the affectations caused by the economic and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba and how its policy has tried to destabilize the Cuban people for more than half a century, spoke Yanet Broun, educator .
Yohendry Hernandez, a primary school teacher, said that combating wrong actions, taking care of what the country makes available to society, is a way to contribute to strengthen the Revolution.
Thus the participants reflected on values, historical memory, patriotic symbols and anti-imperialism.
MarÃa Elena Cedeños Coordinator of the CDR in the locality, considered the exchange as positive. The CDR’s leader said that every day the importance of the battle of ideas in the neighborhood.
The process will take place until March 15 next year and has planned such exchanges in each CDR, zones and municipalities of the country.
