Mayabeque, Cuba_ Young from Mayabeque received this weekend the flag of the Youth Route 60th anniversary of Granma Yacht and the Day of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) in a ceremony held at the The Cacahual, historic monument located in the Cuban capital, Radio Camoa reports.
The column includes outstanding young people of educational, production and service centers, the FAR and the Ministry of the Interior (MININT), who ratified the high commitment of youth to the Revolution.
The group headed by José Luis Guerra Barrio, art instructor at Camilo Cienfuegos primary school in San José de las Lajas left from Mayabeque’s Internationalist Square to Camilo Cienfuegos Park to denounce the US imperialist blockade against Cuba and place a floral offering to the monument of the Hero of Yaguajay.
Afterwards, the 60 young people carried out a productive work in the Bosque de la Juventud, visited the seat of the Interior Ministry in Mayabeque’s capital, and participated in a musical and dance activity before camped at Moralitos monument.
On Sunday at the historic site La Palmita in the municipality of Madruga they passed the flag to the delegation of Matanzas province to continue its tour through the rest of the provinces of the country until arriving in Granma on December 2.
