Mayabeque, Cuba_ The inhabitants of Güines will pay tribute to Fidel Castro on the 28th and 29th of this month at different points in this geography of Mayabeque.

Students, workers, combatants, housewives and people in general will participate in the ceremony to honor one of the greatest political personalities of the present century.

As a sign of adherence to the principles emanating from the fidelity of Fidel’s thought, in neighborhoods and communities flags waved at half-mast in public buildings and military establishments, and photographs and pictures that illustrate the personality of the leader of the Cuban Revolution are placed in different places.

After declaring nine days of national mourning for the death of Fidel Castro, in Güines around 40 state institutions will open their doors since November 28, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm to sing the condolences books and ratify the value of the thought of the man who was one of the greatest defenders of human rights.

To honor the leader of the attack to the Moncada, the güineros will attend this solemn ceremony, as a demonstration of love and loyalty to the revolutionary principles of a man who deserves the respect and admiration of all humanity.
