Mayabeque, Cuba_ In the presence of the President of the Councils of States and Ministers, Raul Castro Ruz, thousands of men and women Mayabeque and Artemisa participated in the parade carried out in Havana’s Plaza de la Revolucion Jose Marti to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution, representing the whole country.

The Mayabequenses, like all Cubans present in the historic Plaza, reaffirmed their conviction that Cuba will never bow to the pressures and threats of the empire, and highlighted their disposition to continue the defense of the conquests of the Revolution.

The march began with about 128 horsemen as a tribute to the Mambi army followed by four columns of young men dressed as guerrillas in tribute to the Rebel Army.

Also present were representatives of the Pre-university and University Student of the Institutions of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), as well as members of the Ministry of the Interior and the Militias of Territorial Troops, workers of the Ministry of Public Health, Construction, Informatics, Tourism and dozens of pioneers who accompanied the replica of the Granma yacht.
