Mayabeque, Cuba__ The provincial branch of the Association of Sugar Technicians (ATAC), in Mayabeque, celebrates its 90th anniversary with concrete activities to support the prioritized tasks of the sector.

"Breaking the blockade of the United States against Cuba is one of the objectives of the ATAC," the workers affirmed during the celebrations for the 90 anniversary of that organization this January 3.

Eduardo Lamadrid, president of the ATAC in the country, said that one of the tasks of the members of the organization is to support the development of agricultural production units and sugar mills.

Among the members of the Association of Sugar Technicians of Cuba is encouraged the discussion of the problems of the sugar cane industry at all levels, in order to achieve a diversified and competitive sector.
