Mayabeque, Cuba_ Students from the primary, high and special teaching in Güines carried out assemblies in their schools to salute the 55 Anniversary of José Martí Pioneer Organization (OPJM in Spanish) and previous to the National Assembly of the organization under the slogan “Let’s Dream” (Vamos a Soñar).

According to Mayrelis Colomina Suárez, president of the pioneers in the territory, in these meetings the children discussed the main problems affecting their groups, functioning of the organization, discipline and responsibility, in the material order as well as in the studies, the importance of the history of the locality and the link with the community.

Besides, the students talked about themes related with the adaptations of the Education Ministry for the present academic year, through the exchange of ideas and demands.

The group assemblies with the names Con los pies en la tierra, will be carried out from February 8th on, to continue with the process that will finish with the National Assembly to take place on July 15th to 19th.

This process is devoted to the 90th anniversary of Commander in chief Fidel Castro, Colome Suarez said.
