Mayabeque, Cuba_ Members of the Young Communist League (UJC), members of the University Student Federation (FEU) and people in general, participated in the provincial activity in honor of the 60th anniversary of the assault on the Presidential Palace and Radio Reloj, carried out in the vicinity of Radio Mayabeque station.

Dariel Torres Hernández, president of the FEU Provincial Council of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, recounted the decisive role of Cuban youth in the country's historical trajectory, in favor of the absolute independence of the nation.

Torres Hernández, summoned the student to be protagonist of each revolutionary action, and join the activities for the 95th anniversary of the student organization and ratified the commitment to the ideology of José Antonio Echeverría, protagonist of the events of March 13, 1957.

On the occasion a group of young people of the new generation of vanguard received the cards that identified them as members of the UJC to, which has Commander Fidel Castro Ruz as a paradigm.

 Present at the event were Hamlet Valdes Leon, first secretary of the UJC Provincial Committee, Jorge Félix Lazo Mesa, member of the bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in Mayabeque and Andrés Nivaldo Reyes, first secretary of the PCC, in Güines.

Especially invited to the act were Ismael Hernández Sánchez, member of the Cuban Revolutionary Directory and other fighters of the clandestine fight.
