Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Territorial Defense Day took place in San Nicolás, this Sunday, June 11, in the four Popular Councils of the territory.

Ariadnis Beltrán Fraga, head of the department of defense in the municipal administration, said that they carried out the exercise in the school of the population settlement Héctor Molina Riaño, which had the objective of carrying out actions to face exceptional situations.

The day was propitious for the development of other tasks such as sanitation and cleaning of labor and student centers, including the protective works of the four zones of defense of San Nicolás.

This activity has the purpose of creating and improving, from the socio-political, technical, military and economic point of view, the necessary conditions to act efficiently before the different states, through the preparation of cadres and officials, as well as the different categories of personnel.
