Mayabeque, Cuba_ The delegation of Mayabeque reached the sixth place by provinces in the National Table Tennis Championship for people with disabilities, held in the Amistad room in Villa Clara.
According to the report of Regla Armenteros Herrera, Vice President of the Cuban Association of Physical-Motor Limits (ACLIFIM) of the demarcation, Carlos Gabriel Diaz Leyva achieved two silver medals in the individual segment and in the open tournament, followed by Oslendy DÃaz Hidalgo, with a silver medal.
On the other hand, Jorge Félix RodrÃguez, José MartÃnez DomÃnguez and the nicolaseño Rafael MartÃnez, in the individual event won the bronze medals.
Holguin won the contest with seven gold medals, two silver and one bronze, escorted by Matanzas with 2-0-5 and the city of Villaclara 2-0-3.
The most outstanding athletes with two gold medals each were Yanelis Silva, from the city of the parks, and Erick Manso, from Villa Clara.
Equal recognition for the winners of silver and bronze who with their dedication and effort, got to the podium in the National Table Tennis Championship for people with disabilities.
