Mayabeque, Cuba_ More than 60 tons of mango per day is elaborated by the Batabanó Canning Factory for the country's food program.Â
The manager of the industry Rolando Palenzuela Ondina specifies that they work in 2 shifts for 24 hours.
The fruit processing campaign stands out for the abundant raw material from the units of agriculture.
"We received mango from several municipalities of Mayabeque, Madruga, Güines, San Jose de las Lajas and Bejucal among them. We also grind from territories of Artemisa, such as BahÃa Honda, AlquÃzar and San Cristóbal ", Rolando reveals.
The repair and maintenance of the manufacturing areas guarantee a stable pulp production.
