Eayabeque, Cuba_ Workers of the electricity sector in the province are currently engaged in maintenance work on important networks in the territory, Mayabeque newspaper reports. 

With the professionalism that characterizes them, these workers contribute to achieve greater efficiency and sustainability in the behavior of the energy system and water supply to the population.

The tasks in execution intend avoiding or minimizing the affectations and interruptions that in greater or less degree causes the weather’s inclemency, rains and frequent thunderstorms at this time of the year.

They operate in areas of the facilities of El Gato and Cuenca Sur, which supply water to several municipalities in Havana. Operations also include lightning rods.
