Mayabeque, Cuba_ The provincial radio station Radio Mayabeque received for the twentieth consecutive time the banner of collective National Vanguard of the Union of Workers of the Culture, distinction that recognizes the integrality and results of the work during the year 2016.

The general secretary of the guild in the country, Nereida López Labrada, said that this center is characterized by the dedication, constancy and quality of the programs, the systematicity in the union work, and the sense of belonging of its workers

She pointed out that Radio Mayabeque has the challenge of continuing the legacy of Raúl Gómez García, the poet of the Centenary Generation and martyr of the sector, proposing to listeners an attractive and quality programming.

The vice president of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT), Guillermo Pavón Pacheco, gave María del Carmen Hernández Ferrer, deputy director of information, the Distinguished Worker's Seal of the Culture Union, for standing out in the labor context, be present in each call, her cooperation in all areas of the station and for being an examplefor the members of the plant.
