Mayabeque, Cuba_ Up to a five percent increases the water in the province's reservoirs, following the rains that Hurricane Irma brought, according to the Mayabeque Hydropower Company, by Radio Camoa published.

Mampostón, the largest dam, located in San José de las Lajas, with more than 150 million cubic meters of total capacity, reached 43 percent with a volume of 66 million 650 cubic meters.

La Ruda, for its part, is at 78 percent storage, with a volume of seven million 963 cubic hectometres.

Other reservoirs of the demarcation are at the top and are pouring, such as Pedroso, to 108 percent, Aguas Claras in Bejucal to 104, and San Miguel in Jaruco to 102 percent.

The dams Canasí, Jibacoa in Santa Cruz del Norte and Jaruco also increased their level, contributing to the 56 percent of current storage of the precious liquid in the province.
