Mayabeque, Cuba_ The pioneers of San José de las Lajas carried out this Monday the election process in all primary, secondary and special education schools, Radio Camoa published.

Frank Alejandro Rodríguez Álvarez, Chelen Roble, Adriana Rubio and Daniel Alfonso, students of the Mártires de San José school were selected to integrate the Pioneril group of this educational center with the responsibilities of head of studies, emulation, exploration and camping, among other.

Yulesy Ocaña Céspedes, the school's guide, explained that during the morning and afternoon of Monday the fourth, fifth and sixth grade students carried out various cultural and recreational activities, meetings between groups, in addition to the selection of the collective at the Detachment level .

The elections are one of the most important processes carried out by the Jose Marti Pioneers Organization, as part of the education to the new generations in the principles of the highest democracy, at which time the presidency and the group of pioneers are structured.

For the students this day was a celebration and encouragement to continue working in the different tasks. For those who participated for the first time in this exercise of democracy, it was a new experience that will allow them from an early age to choose those who are prepared and are the best to represent them.
