Mayabeque, Cuba_ Experts from the National Center for Agricultural Health (CENSA), located in San Jose de las Lajas, will participate in the Course-Workshop: One Health, a Renewed Integrative Approach to the Increasing Global Health Risks, which will be held on October 12 and 13 at Havana’s Conventions Center.Â
The event will be attended by researchers, professors, specialists, technicians, students, officials and managers of research centers, universities, the agricultural sector, the pharmaceutical and food industry, and the public and private sectors, according to Radio Camoa,.
The main objective of this training is to contribute to the integration of scientific, academic and productive institutions in the inter-sectorial and multidisciplinary confrontation to the global health risks that threaten public health.
The general debates will be held through thematic conferences, case studies, panels of experts, representatives of institutions and sectors involved.
Topics such as the prevention of zoonoses and their current challenges, inter-sectorial cooperation, emerging and reemerging diseases, harmlessness food safety from the farm to the plate; anti-microbial resistance, global problems and challenges for the pharmaceutical industry, among others eill be under discussions during the event.
