Havana, Cuba_ The members of the XXV Latin American and Caribbean Solidarity Brigade with Cuba begin their activities on the Island today, where they will carry out productive work and visit historical and cultural places, Prensa Latina reports.

Together with the people of the largest of the Antilles they will celebrate the 92^nd anniversary of the birthday of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro on August 13.

The contingent, made up of about 70 members from 14 nations, will stay at the Julio Antonio Mella international camp, in Caimito, Artemisa.

During their stay there they will work voluntarily in agriculture and attend lectures about the Cuban current affairs and they will also visit the provinces of Artemisa, La Habana and Pinar del Río.

The brigade program includes a trip to the city of Santa Clara, in the center of the nation, to pay homage to the Cuban-Argentine Commander, Ernesto Guevara in the sculptural complex that keeps his remains and those of his companions.

In the capital they will visit the Museum of the Revolution and the José Martí Memorial.

The friends of Cuba will also exchange experiences with the members of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, the largest neighborhood organization in the Caribbean country.

It is expected that on August 10 the brigade will carry out a special activity in the camp dedicated to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, considered in the world a paradigm of solidarity among peoples.
