Mayabeque, Cuba_ Members of the Provincial Infrastructure and Investments Direction in Mayabeque, stimulate the production of construction materials in the territory, using the local production programs.

One of the productive ways with better results in the manufacture of building materials is the program of local production, with 97 generic.

According to Michael Fundora Ortiz, head of local productions in the demarcation, this system began to be implemented in Mayabeque since 2013 and its main objective is to lower their prices.

"Another basis is the manufactures of materials from the natural deposits of each territory, which are sold in the net of domestic trade stores, where the granting of subsidies for the execution, repair and maintenance of housing have the priority, to solve the housing problem, " the official added.

The province has a total of 120 self-employed workers involved in the project, with production of blocks, landings and floors, the most demanded in the territory.
