Mayabeque, Cuba_ The First National Scientific Meeting on Environmental Education and Sustainable Development 2016, will take place between May 26 and 27 Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez Agrarian University, in Mayabeque’s capital, the digital site of Radio Camoa publishes.

The central themes of the event will be environmental education and sustainable development, besides analyzing issues related with savings and the rational use of the resources, health education, heritage education and culture of peace.

The meeting will be attended by professional of the national education system, technicians and researchers as well as persons involved in environmental issues.

The modalities to compete will be lectures, teaching aids, and audiovisual products, application of technologies, poster, photography, digital and visual arts.

The event is sponsored by the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the Agricultural and Rural Development Center (CEDAR), together with the Live Mangrove Project Group, the Ministry of Science Technology and Environment (CITMA) in Mayabeque and the Association of Educators of Cuba.
