Mayabeque, Cuba_ Producers from several Cuban provinces, verified in situ the results of the cultivation of 25 varieties of tomatoes, obtained in the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA) and cultivated in Amistad farm, in the municipality of Güines.

In this scenario, they carried out the training on the benefits of this vegetable for human health, cultural attention to plantations, and main properties.

"The fair allowed the farmers of the territory, as well as Artemisa, Las Tunas and Matanzas the selection of the most attractive crops for their characteristics, to take them to their farms according to their behavior on the ground," the director of science and innovation at the INCA, Michel Martínez Cruz, said.

Researchers, farmers, specialists in science, technology and the environment, as well as agricultural workers and professionals of the University Center, carried out a Diversity Fair to show the use of technologies and facilitate access to seasonal vegetables.
