Mayabeque, Cuba: The forum of science and technology of public health sector took place in the municipality of Madruga, with creative proposals and backed by high scientific and investigative rigor.

This event, every year, proposes alternatives and practical solutions to raise the quality of the services.

The jury evaluated more than twenty papers related to the results of the Senior Adult Program, the experiences in the physical rehabilitation of patients and their reincorporation into social life and the work with adolescents and young people to combat drugs and alcoholism.

The medical professionals in Madruga also discussed about the Program of the Doctor and the Family Nurse and its impact on the quality of life of the community, the social reintegration of patients with mental disorders and the repair of medical equipment with spare pieces created by innovators of the branch.

The base forum was dedicated to José Martí, on the occasion of commemorating on May 19 the 124th anniversary of his fall in combat.

Special moment was the reading of a letter sent by local health collaborators, who provide services in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in which they ratify the decision to stand firm in the fulfillment of their solidarity and humanist mission with the people of Chavez and Maduro against the maneuvers of the empire.

In the letter they exhort their colleagues to provide quality services to our people to guarantee well-being and the strengthening of one of the main achievements of the Revolution.
