Mayabeque, Cuba__ The Section of Science Technology and Environment, CITMA of San Jose de las Lajas, call scientists, researchers, teachers and workers to improve the search for solutions to the various problems that still hinder the development of society in all areas, the digital site of Radio Camoa publishes.
Raquel Sosa Pérez, head of CITMA in the capital of Mayabeque, praised as positive the more than 30,000 solutions offered in the last five years to increase food production, import substitution, saving energy carriers and protect the environment.
The specialist said that in the next year they will face the challenge of achieving the generalization of the most important contributions, and especially to raise the quality of the Forum of Science and Technology in the base, since the idea of sharing old and new initiatives with an impact on the quality of goods and services produced in the territory for lajeros and also for the world.
To achieve these objectives, she stressed, it is essential to promote the social recognition of the men and women who contribute the most to the progress of the territory, main working in the institutions of the Scientific Teaching complex of Mayabeque, such as the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, the Institute of Animal Science and the National Center for Agricultural Health, among others.
In 2016, 96 of the 146 solutions presented in the events of the Forum at the base were evaluated as relevant in the municipality, and competed with other investigations in provincial events that took place from October 13 through at the Fructuoso Rodriguez Agrarian University Havana.
