Mayabeque, Cuba_ Researchers from the National Center of Agricultural Welfare (CENSA by its Spanish Initials) in San José de las Lajas, collaborate in the production of drugs, already registered or in different stages of investigation, for the treatment of cancer, that includes therapeutic vaccines, mononuclear antibodies and interferon, radio Camoa Website reports.
The medicine, produced in different scientific institutions throughout the country belonging to the biotechnology sector, supports the use and development of the benefits of the isotope industry for health.
Censa’s scientists expect that these bio products will have in the next year an increasing impact in the objective of making advance cancer in a controllable chronic disease in a long term, with an acceptable quality of life.
The investigators share their knowledge with experts from Hungary, Spain, Dominican Republic, Honduras and El Salvador.
