Mayabeque, Cuba_ Guines’ athlete Lianna de la Caridad Montero will participate in the Pan-American Sports Championships, based in Lima, at the beginning of May, the Cuban Federation announced. 

The athlete will travel on Wednesday with the women's team, led by the coaches Filiberto Delgado and Alexis Estrabao, to advance in the organization chart, reach the discussion of the medals and thus achieve the ticket to the 2019 Pan American Games.

The team is led by the world junior medalists of 2017, Yudaris Sánchez, and will also have the experienced, Yusnelis Guzmán and Yakelín Estornell, Lilianet Duane, and Mabelkis Capote.

The male wrestling group includes Reineris Andreus, Alejandro Valdés, Liván López, Yunierky Torreblanca, Reineris Salas and Yudennys Alpajón, according to the website of Radio COCO.

Luis Orta, Ismael Borrero, Ariel Fis, Daniel Gregorich, Gabriel Rosillo and Oscar Pino, members of the Greco-Roman fighting team, will leave tomorrow for the Peruvian capital, according to the Commissioner and President of the Cuban Fighting Federation, Luis de la Portilla.

The 18 athletes will look for their tickets to next year's wrestling tournament in the same city. The first three places of each peso will obtain the classification for their countries.
