Mayabeque, Cuba_ The teams from Quivicán and Melena del Sur will play the final baseball competition in Mayabeque in a five game playoff to win three, starting this Saturday at Thomas Calvo stadium, in Quivican.
Gonzalo Dominguez, methodological assessor of the specialty in the territory, explained the determination of not playing other games that were rescheduled because they do not alter the classification.
The specialist argued that for the same reason it was decided not to make the semifinal stage and instead of that to start the playoff series between the top two places in the position table.
Quivicán stood at the top with 17 victories and only three failures, followed by Melena del Sur with 14 and five.
The first two games for the crown will be held at the stadium of the defending champions until Sunday.
The hostilities will continue at November 8th, from the challengers, with two other crashes during t Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 and if necessary, to decide in the fifth match, the actions will return to Tomas Calvo, on Thursday, 21.
