Mayabeque, Cuba_ José Martí Park in the municipality of San Nicolás was the scenery of the Skating Cup 8 de marzo.

Four skaters from Güines and the locality participated in the event. Adelaida de la Caridad Ruiz Fleitas and Steffany Fleitas Santos, who won two second places, stood out, in the category 7-8 years.

The distinction was for San Nicolás’ Marlene de la Mercedes Torres, in a competition where the rivalry prevailed. The most outstanding athlete of the lid, was Marlene Soto Hernández, from Güines, with four first places, including the competition with the men.

In the 9-10 year category, Elianes Roca Álvarez, from San Nicolás, excelled. In the 11-12, the victory was for Leimis Pérez from Güines, with three first places and a second one.

Also, the athlete from San Nicolas Santi Álvarez Torres highlighted in that category, with three second places.
