Mayabeque, Cuba_ Baseball and karate will be at the center of the sporting events in this province during the second half of March, with final events that in the municipalities of San José de las Lajas, Bejucal, Quivicán and Güines.
From today and until March 19 fans will have the opportunity to attend the Romelio MartÃnez in Memoriam Baseball Cup. This will be the first edition of the event that pays tribute to the best slugger in our territory with a remarkable place in the national scope for the frequency with which he took the ball out from the limits of the stadiums.
The semifinals of the ball 9-10 years will be played between March 14 and 16, in different areas of Mayabeque before the grand final in this month too.
The Karate Cup, 11-12 years category, will take place from March 15 thru 17, tournament that will be based at the Antonio Ñico Jiménez Sports Initiation
School located in the municipality of Güines.
