Mayabeque, Cuba_ Mayabeque’s athletes of the Sport King  will participate in the national zonal event, to take place in Artemisa, in preparation for the School Games, which will be held soon.

The representatives of this territory are the students of the School of Sport Initiation, Antonio Ñico Jiménez, located in Güines.

The deputy director of the institution in the demarcation, Víctor Cairo, reported that the athletes of the different school categories will attend the competition in the Red Villa.

In the contest they will compete in almost all the modalities of the athletics, like long distance race, long and high jump among others.

The athletes will seek to improve their personal marks and thus their classification for the National School Games, to be held in the month of July.
