Mayabeque, Cuba_ MarÃa Antonia Suárez, from Mayabeque, won a second place and so the silver medal in the National Weightlifting Championship for disabled people, held in Santa Clara.
According to the report of the vice president of the Cuban Association of Physical-Motor Limits (ACLIFIM) in Mayabeque, Regla Armenteros, athletes from several provinces participated in the contest, for the demarcation participated two, the award-winning and Pastora Vatt.
This contest is held annually and is sponsored by the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER), together with the ACLIFIM. It is the first time that it is based in the Eduardo GarcÃa room, in the province of Villa Clara.
