Mayabeque, Cuba: The fighter Lianna de la Caridad Montero Herrera, from Güines, is one of Mayabeque's representatives to the most important sport event in our continent, the 18th Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru, scheduled from July 26 to August 11.

The 57-kilogram young gladiator will travel to the Andean city with the great responsibility of obtaining a medal, which will contribute to improving the results and Cuban location of Toronto 2015.

According to forecasts of the Cuban Federation of Wrestling, the bronze medalist in the Budapest World Championship last year, is one of the two women who must contribute medals in Lima.

"My main rival in Lima must be the American Jacarra Gwenischa Winchester who defeated me two months ago in Argentina ... if we meet there, it will be a revenge fight with a victory for each one ... we already know each other well, it will be a tough fight, but I will try to strike back and fulfill my dreams ... "

"That could happen on August 8, the day of the women's combats ... date that could be the happiest day of my life if I give Cuba, Mayabeque and Güines the most valuable medal of my sports career ..."
