Mayabeque, Cuba_ Different sport and recreational activities are proposed by the workers of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER), in San José de las Lajas, to celebrate the 90 birthday of Fidel Castro Ruz, Radio Camoa publishes.
A cycle race is expected in the territory for next August 12 with a tour of 10 kilometers with exit and goal at Nelson Fernández Sport Complex with the participation of cyclists of the locality.
The same August 13th, date of the Leader of the Cuban Revolution’s birthday, it will be carried out Olympic Ideal Career starting at seven in the morning from the provincial capital until the goal, located in the Güines’ Central Park.
With that sport event the people of Mayabeque are also celebrating the 90 anniversary of the Olympic Cuban Committee’s constitution.
According to Yamira Alfonso Cedeño, head of sports for all department, specialists of the municipal directions of INDER in the locality, also propose, a program of activities during July and August that it includes football and other traditional games, in the 84 districts of the territory, as well as swimming competitions.
