Mayabeque, Cuba_ Mayabeque’s Baseball team resulted the champion in the traditional Antillana de Acero Baseball Cup organized by the country’s capital. The Hurricanes finished the classificatory day with three victories and a defeat, after defeating Pinar del Rio, Cotorro and losing with Artemisa.

In the following phase, they defeated the team of Antillana and were defeated by Industriales and Isla de la Juventud, but adding the victories of the first stage, the pupils of Vannoy Arado concluded first of their group.
