Mayabeque, Cuba_ The GM Leinier Dominguez will have other important commitment starting from next November 5 in the city of Novy Sad, Serbia.

The Ibero-American best chess player, with a current Elo of 2736 points that places him in the place 23 of the world, will participate in another edition of the European Clubs Championship, with the participation of 61 teams representing numerous nations.

The inauguration and the congresillo will be held the first Saturday of the eleventh month and to the following day the skirmishes of the tournament will begin through a Swiss system.

Until Sunday 13 the Idol of Güines will defend the second table of the Russian team Mendnyi Vsadnik, a potent collective that exhibits high average of 2713 points Elo and occupies the fifth place in the list of the 61 registered.

Peter Svidler, a Russian top quality player that shows coefficient of 2745 units, is the only one with superior rating to the Pride of Mayabeque, reason that gives him the right of defending the first board.

Svidler and Leinier will be accompanied by Russians Nikita Vitiugov (2721), Maxim Matlakov (2691), Ildar Khairullin (2630) and Vladimir Fedoseev (2665), besides Israeli Maxim Rodshtein (2687) and Chinese Xiangzhi Bu (2698).

The European Clubs Championship gathers the best players' in the world, distributed among several groups.

Among all, stands out the fortissimo Syberia with astronomical average of 2744, leaded by Vladimir Kramnik (2817), Alexander Grischuk (2752) and Dutch Anish Giri (2756).

A similar result to those reached in his last three tournaments, could make Leinier return to the top ten that gathers the most upper-class players of the world chess.
