Mayabeque, Cuba_ Mayabeque will be represented by a delegation of 14 weight lifters in two categories, in the 53 edition of the National School Games to be held in the province of Granma, from July 6th.

The 13-14 year-old women's team includes Karla Frómeta and Emily Barrios, both from Melena del Sur, who will double in the 42 kilogram division.

The quinceañeras are Roxana González, from Güines in 53 kilos, Emily Ulloa in 58 and Yanaisa Cotilla in 63, both from San Jose de las Lajas. Elisángela Narváez, from Jaruco, and Dayana Savigne, from Nueva Paz, will also double in 69. The group is completed by the güinera Yoana Calderín in more than 69.

All will be under the direction of Professor Yasniel Núñez Alcolea. Luis Miguel Remont from Melena del Sur in 48 and Carlos Enrique Marrero from Jaruco in 54, will compete in the men's competition category 13- years 14.

In the 15-16 category, 50 kilos division will participate Michel Rodríguez and Yerovis Mora, both from Güines and the Batabanoenses Julio César Lugo in 56 and Roberto Alvarez in more than 90. The coach is the lajero Alexander García.

According to that specialist, the greatest medal options are for Remont and Marrero in the 50 kg of 13-14, and in the immediate division the güinero Mora in 50 and the super-heavy Batabanoense Álvarez Pérez in the modality of envion.
