Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Athlete from Mayabeque, Anailis Dovigní, of the 57 kilograms, will attend the judo team tournament at the Women’s Festival in the Dominican Republic from today until the 24th of the current month.

Yoslier Tellez, who will travel to the Dominican capital heading the Cuban team, explained that our country is participating in this open event with four young promises of discipline.

Cuba is also to be represented by Gretell Romero from Sancti Spirits, in the 52 kilograms, Melissa Peñalver, from Artemisa in 70 kg and Dayle Ojeda from Havana, in more than 70.

According to Tellez, the largest of the Antilles, will participate in disadvantages, because the other teams take five athletes and Cuba only four judokas, however they stand out among the favorites, despite their inexperience.

Cuba will also be present this weekend at the Open de Peru, with the capital's athletes Onix Cortes, 70 kilograms and Maricet Espinoza, 63.
