Contramaestre, Cuba_ The book Fidel Castro Ruz, Pensamientos based on a thematic selection of the Commander-in-Chief's ideas, was presented as part of the activities for the 64th anniversary of the Moncada’s feat, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
The compilation created by Pedro Creach Corrales, and with a prologue by the Brazilian theologian and writer Frei Betto, was published by the House of Latin American and Caribbean Culture and s Shows in its first part 97 opinions issued on Fidel by fellow combatants, leaders and personalities.
In order to complete the 274 pages, it collects in 29 topics more than one thousand hundred thoughts from the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, expressed in speeches, reflections, articles, meetings, interviews and messages, carefully quoted in bibliographical references.
Born in the Sierra Maestra, Creach Corrales integrated the literacy brigades Conrado Benítez, graduated from Enrique José Varona High Superior Institute in the specialty of History, is a cultural promoter and initiator of the National System of Houses of Culture in Cuba.
The author of the Heralds of Health and Life and Infinite Faith in Victory, reiterates the historical legacy of Fidel's thought and these ideas made available to the reader are essential instruments for the struggle.
The presentation was attended by the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in the province, Lázaro Expósito Canto and the president of the governing body at the same instance Beatriz Johnson Urrutia.
