In the cultural spaces, in the recent calls of the Homeland, the presence of Amelia Martínez Pérez or rather China, the stomatologist, is missed.

The days of her illness have been hard, but talking about Fidel energizes her and falls in love, with her 75 years of age and with her body hurt by a terrible ailment, China’s eyes shine when she remembers that occasion of the fourth meeting of the Continental Latin American and Caribbean Student Organization (OCLAE) in which her audacity gave her the first contact with the leader.

She also recalled that other moment in lands of Melena and the proverbial memory of Fidel, when he came on November 5 to visit this territory.

With damp eyes she only whispers: "He has some hands" and full of emotion, I hug her and I feel her body more alive than ever, while I think about the power that love and admiration for the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution has.
