Mayabeque, Cuba_ Today Cuba is living a process that marks the democracy of a free and sovereign nation willing to elect representatives of the people in the Provincial Assembly of People's Power and in Parliament.

The right to vote is the pride of all those elder people who come to exercise suffrage in the neighborhood, it is a sign of the unity of a people that trusts its representatives.

Juana Hernández Rivera, coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution in Güines, talks about how to exercise the vote.

"There are two ballots, it is not the same as the past elections, there is a green ballot for the deputies and a white one for the delegates to the Provincial Assembly, you can vote for as many deputies as you want, if it is for each one is a cross next to the name, if it is for everybody it is a cross in the circle that is in the center of the ballot ".

"We are explaining to the presidents, grassroots leaders and all the factors of the community the work we have to do until the elections are over, the mobilization of the people, having the polling stations ready and reviewing the lists," Hernández Rivera said.

Today, as the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz said during the closing session of the constitution of the National Assembly in its fourth term: "The vote is deeply conscious and speaks very highly of the revolutionary spirit of our people, of its conscience and its political culture.
