With the opening of the theoretical event and the beginning of the working sessions of the jury of Written Press began the Third Provincial Festival of Radio, Television and Written Journalism began in Mayabeque. Until April 13, more than 200 works sent to competitions by the different media will be evaluated.
Of the total works, 129 belong to the radio, 47 to television, 29 are of digital journalism, 25 of written press and 20 of photography and design. The rest of the juries will carry out the auditions this week.
The professional development from its wide range of possibilities is the main objective of the event; hence the National Agrarian University of Havana hosts since Monday the theoretical event of the Provincial Festival, today with the presence of representatives of the National Union of Historians of Cuba (UNHIC), including its president Reinaldo Guerrero.
In the exchange, it was agreed to update the links between this structure and the Media with the aim of strengthening knowledge of national history and in particular local history.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, two panels will session. One in the morning dedicated to the treatment given by the media to the documents of the Seventh Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and in the afternoon the assistants will be updated about the operative situation for the confrontation to the political and ideological subversion in the territory.
