Mayabeque, Cuba_ The municipality of Melena del Sur creates the conditions for the popular consultation process of the Draft of the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, which will take place between next August 13 and November 15.

The member of the Municipal Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba, Amaury López Alfonso, explained that three meetings are planned with the participation of more than 20 thousand meleneros.

The meetings will be concentrated in 108 labor entities, 139 residential areas and 6 in student centers.

The municipal seminary is programmed for August 9th, where it will be given the necessary preparation to the 12 duos that will lead the process next to professors of history, jurists, economists, among other professionals.

The intention is that all the people know the Constitutional Draft, that they can provide criteria, propose modifications to the text, add or omit paragraphs, and clarify doubts.

The political leader added that the tabloid of the document, consisting of 16 pages at a price of one cup, is already on sale.

The criteria collected, the corrections and changes, will be analyzed again by the deputies of the National Assembly of People's Power so that on February 24, 2019 all Cubans can express by direct and secret vote the support to the Constitution of the Republic .
