Cuba: The Electoral Law, and thus says the new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, will be the first norm derived from it, and before the six-month period, after the Magna Carta is in force, it must be approved by the National Assembly of the Popular Power, Radio Reloj publishes.

According to the Secretary of the Council of State, Homero Acosta, in the recent debates carried out in the commissions of the Parliament, there is now a process of revision of the first bases of the Draft of that regulation.

There is a will directed to its elaboration in the fastest and most quality way, he emphasized, because beyond all the modifications, there are precepts that should remain unchanged in the Electoral Law.

Among those essences, he mentioned the process of nomination by the people, and the representation in Parliament of all sectors of society and grassroots delegates, because that, he remarked, means participation.
