Havana_ With a tour to the Historic Center of Havana, the president of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), María Fernanda Espinosa, today concludes her official visit to Cuba, Prensa Latina reports.

The day before, Espinosa described her visit to the Island as fruitful, a country she considers an indispensable actor and ally of the multilateral system.
"It was a profitable visit, in which I had an intense and complete agenda that ratifies the close cooperation relationship between the United Nations system and the Caribbean nation," she said.

During his stay in the largest of the Antilles, Espinosa was received by the Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel.

At the meeting, both ratified the common will to strengthen the role of the multilateral organization in the preservation of peace and in the search for collective solutions to global problems.

As part of her stay, the Ecuadorian Foreign Minister spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, and spoke with students from the Higher Institute of International Relations, located in the capital of all Cubans.
