Havana, Cuba: The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, recently evaluated the 57 implementation measures proposed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Faculty of Economics, of the University of Havana, to solve employment problems in the country, Radio Reloj publishes.
The guidelines are aimed at establishing a more coherent relationship between demand and supply of skilled workforce, promoting professional development and updating of knowledge, as well as improving the innovation system and income distribution.
Díaz-Canel insisted on considering distance work, with adequate control mechanisms, and oriented to study in which sectors of the economy this modality is most feasible.
He also called for the best ways to make the multi-employment option more flexible, taking into account population aging in the country.
